Our Children's Ministry centers around two events: Sunday School and Pioneer Clubs during the school year. Both provide a place for children to learn about the Word of God and have fun in a constructive environment.
Children on Sundays
We offer Sunday School for children from 3 years old and up. For a list of classes for both children and adults, visit our "services" page. During
Sunday School, we offer a nursery for children up to 2 years old, and during the worship services we offer nursery for children through age 3. We also offer Junior Church
for children ages 4-7 during the morning sermon. For more information, please call the church at (630) 851-4120.
Pioneer Clubs (during school year only)
Pioneer Clubs meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00pm. We welcome kids from 2 years old through sixth grade. The kids are broken up into five groups:
"Skippers" (2-3 yr. olds), "Scooters" (kindergarten), "Voyagers" (1-2 grade), "Pathfinders" (3-4 grade), and "Trailblazers" (5-6 grade).
The evening is broken into 3 separate time slots: Game time, Song time, and Handbook time. During Handbook time the kids learn Bible stories and
memorize Bible verses to earn Bible Bucks that they get to spend at our Christmas Store in the winter and Fun Fair in the Spring. They also complete
projects to earn badges in everything from carpentry to rocket science. Game Time is led by fantastic leaders who come up with fun and engaging games
for each age level. The youngest kids, the two and three year old "Skippers," are kept separate from the older kids for most of the evening but often join the younger
kids for songs and part of their games. Parent pick-up time is 8:00pm.
