One characteristic of Village Baptist Church is our strong commitment to missions. In Matt. 28:19-20, Jesus tells His disciples (and us) to, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Therefore, while it is our calling to make disciples of men and women here in Aurora, we support those who are called to minister abroad, as well as sending our own members and staff on short-term missions trips.
