Everyone Has a Place at Village

We are eager to partner with parents to help our children grow in their knowledge of Jesus in age-appropriate contexts. We offer various learning contexts for newborn to 5th grade. For information on Jr. High and High School, see our Youth page.

All our childcare workers are screened and trained to ensure the safety of your little ones.

NURSERY

For children 2 years and younger, we offer a well-staffed nursery. The nursery is available during the 9:30am service and for Second Hour Groups.

children's church

All elementary age children start out with our families in the sanctuary to worship together with the larger church. Just before the sermon, we dismiss our children ages 3 years to 2nd grade to Children’s Church. There, they receive biblical instruction in age-appropriate contexts.

Second Hour Groups

Our Second Hour Groups begin at 11:00am, following the morning service. We offer three groups for elementary aged children:

• Pre-K (3-5 years old, not in kindergarten)

• Kindergarten - 2nd grade

• 3rd - 5th grade

First Wednesday

On the first Wednesday of the month (November - April), we host a time for kids 3 years old through 5th grade to gather, learn about the Bible, and participate in engaging activities. During this time, we welcome parents to stay for parent training seminars. Contact the office for topics and times.

vacation bible school

Vacation Bible School at Village is a popular week-long summer program for kids from 3 yrs old through completed 5th grade. We hold our VBS annually during the last week of June.  Open registration begins the week before VBS.
